Are you ready to help us build a better world?
The name Mabaki comes from Swahili, the most widely spoken language in the part of Africa from which the very first Hominids comes – “The Origin of All”. Perhaps by going back to the Origin, we’re “closing the circle” just like our business model is based on a circular economy…
Mabaki means “waste” which is what everything we do to build a better world revolves around.
Our Vision
We build a better world by proving that creating business models that reduce the environmental impact we’ve been generating since the industrial revolution is possible…
The Mabaki vision is to build a better world by proving that creating business models that reduce the environmental impact we’ve been generating since the industrial revolution is possible. We’ve drawn up a path towards reconstruction and, over the long term, we won’t be concerned about any other objective than making it grow day after day.
Mabaki could only rise as a circular economy company aiming to offer tangible value beyond just the creation of wealth. Closing the circle is what moves us each and every day. For us, removing waste is just as important as producing sunglasses and marketing them, because connecting all the dots in the circle is the road to building a better world…
Our Mission
Our mission is to remove the largest possible quantity of uncontrolled waste from our ecosystems and treating them as production material to make 100% eco-friendly sunglasses, as well as preventing our sunglasses from becoming waste at the end of their useful life…
13 million tonnes of plastic are thrown into the oceans each year. A simple calculation reveals an amount of 400 tonnes per second… However, the impact of this on biodiversity, the economy and people’s health is incalculable.
Our mission is to remove the largest quantity of uncontrolled waste possible from our ecosystems, treat them as production material to make 100% eco-friendly sunglasses, prevent our glasses from becoming waste at the end of their useful life, and creating a circular economy business model that allows us to develop our business in a socially and eco-friendly responsible manner.
